Job Summary
A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual is required to support the running of the Optus Satellite Earth Station at Lockridge in Western Australia. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be energetic, and be able to drive the success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the surveillance and control of all activities associated with the operation of the Optus Satellite Network to meet customer needs and service availabilities.
* Assist in developing and maintaining a close working relationship with all Optus Satellite customers at a systems operations level.
* Interact with Optus Satellite customers to rapidly diagnose and restore any service difficulties or impairment that arise on the Optus Satellite Network.
* Assist with the control, monitoring and fault management of TT&C and Department of Defence.
* Ensure quality customer network service by monitoring planned work processes and assist in managing faults within service level guarantees.
Requirements
* Valid West Australian (or equivalent) Driver's Licence.
* Australian Citizenship.
* NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
* Extensive experience in Telecommunications and Satellite Communications Industries.
* Network management experience desirable.
* Background in Satellite Broadcasting with good working knowledge and experience of Satellite Transmission technologies and systems.
