Job Details: Job Summary: This role will be responsible for general ledger accounting, monthly close and/or entity accounting processes for both CTS and Cubic Defence APAC entities with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. This position typically works under supervision and direction. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: This role involves tasks such as: Prepares and posts non-standard journal entries. Perform FICO reconciliations and resolve differences. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Recommend cash transfers/funding as required Assist with the preparation of Corporate Income Tax Returns and Prepare GST / Fringe Benefit Tax returns Coordinate intercompany transaction processing, confirmation and settlement including review of the accuracy of intercompany charges Key audit contact and support Internal Audit & External Audit request Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements. Prepares account analyses for management and internal/external auditors. Compiles and analyzes financial information. Ensure compliance with internal controls. May be assigned special projects. Performs other related duties as required. Minimum Job Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting Qualified Accountant (CPA/CA) Skills / Experience / Knowledge: Minimum of 4 years post-qualified experience in commerce/industry Strong knowledge and application of IFRS accounting standards and principles Knowledge of APAC regional income tax, GST and Fringe Benefits Tax Compliance Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel and Office) programs, experience with SAP and Blackline a plus. Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel, management and external auditors. Good oral and written communication skills. Able to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and work under deadline stresses Strong attention to detail Condition of Employment: Successful outcome of a background check.
