This role’s focus is leading three specialist teams within SEQ Region’s (QPWS) Technical Support team—including teams dealing with tenure (estate) management, pest & biodiversity management and park planning and evaluation.QPWS is looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for driving on-ground conservation programs. This position requires strong program management and organisational skills as well as initiative and experience in understanding and implementing policy and legislation on the ground. The successful applicant will have an ability to lead and support teams to deliver funded, region-wide programs. Ideally, you will have high-level negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure the effective delivery of programs, in partnership with operational staff, across a large geographic area.
