The successful candidate will have proven market knowledge, and have strong industry relationships with clients with the ability to manage large projectsThis position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to make a significant impact on the success of our project. Key Responsibilities Effectively lead and manage the facilitation of client contracts/ agreements and associated administration in line with commercial requirements, both within quality, cost, safety and time frames by ensuring accurate preparation and implementation of all relevant tasks are carried out in accordance with both Company and external requirements, legislation and regulations. Be conversant with Ahrens’ Quality, Environment, Safety, Drug and Alcohol Policies, HSQE Management System and Emergency Plan. Consult with technical team members to ensure the overall design intentions are achieved; Maximise contract profitability and assume overall accountability for deliverables; Manage any variances or enquiries from the client and provide accurate information; Maintain effective communication with site supervisors, site personnel, sub-contractors and the client to ensure professional and cooperative relationships are maintained; Ensure client invoicing is completed to maximise positive cashflow. Ensure all occupational health, safety and environmental requirements are understood and fulfilled; Ability to work towards tight deadlines while being resilient and collaborative; remain calm under pressure; Prepare weekly reports on the status of the project to the General Manager; Set and maintain standards as a leader within a professional organisation, instilling accountability, honesty and hard work within the team. Skills and Experience Current Driver’s Licence; Have previous Project/ Contract Management experience; Tertiary qualification in Project Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded; Previous experience in the mining industry and an understanding of industrial environments: Good interpersonal and communication skills and excellent written communication skills; High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines; A good level of self-organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
