Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
LGIA Stream C Building and Trades Level 2/3 (Licenced Plumber/Drainer) + Site + Tool + Leading Hand Allowance 3 - $83,828 - $86,166 (Minimum rate depending on qualifications and experience)
LGIA Stream B Buildings and Trades (Construction Experience) Level 6 + Site + Leading Hand Allowance 3 - $76,258
Potential earning capacity of $100,00+ per annum (Dependant on applicable penalty rates, over time and allowances)
Licenced Trade Allowance for qualified plumbers and Annual Wage Increases in line with Certified Agreement

Your new role
Are you looking for a role that utilises your plumbing experience whilst taking you “off the tools” all the time to focus on directing your new team, if so, this is the role for you.
Fitzroy River Water are seeking an experienced and qualified plumber or are you a natural leader with substantial civil construction experience that can lead and motivate a multi-disciplined team who carry out a wide range of construction activities associated with Council’s water, wastewater, and irrigation assets.
Whilst a trade qualification is desirable, it is not essential.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Leadership qualities and supervisory skills with knowledge and experience in leading a team to success.
Good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to contribute to and uphold Council's Safety-First culture.
Experience in the construction, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure.

Application Criteria
Experience in the construction, installation and refurbishment of new and existing water and wastewater reticulation infrastructure.
Ability to lead, motivate and supervise a diverse, multi-skilled team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to exercise good interpersonal skills dealing with all key stakeholders in a positive manner.
