We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Site Engineer to join our client's team in North Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Management:
o Lead and manage the activities of the Engineer and Technician teams throughout installation processes.
o Oversee subcontractor teams, ensuring smooth progress in installation processes.
o Maintain site organization and optimize workflow efficiency during installation.
o Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain a steady workflow and project alignment.
* Quality Improvement:
o Guide regular quality inspections with Quality teams to ensure that installation work meets high-quality standards.
o Identify quality issues on-site, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
o Provide regular updates to engineers and managers, detailing project advancements, encountered issues, and resolution processes.
o Guide Quality teams in completing inspection reports and testing records for project handover preparation.
* Documentation:
o Maintain detailed records of installation processes and equipment specifications.
o Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management on project status and outcomes.
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Engineering Field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the paper industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of machinery and installation processes.
* Familiarity with safety and quality control standards.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Effective communication and leadership abilities.
* Problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
* A valid equivalent CSCS Card.
This is a contract role expected to last around 18 months, with an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
