Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Risk and Controls Assurance Manager to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing their risk management framework and ensuring robust internal controls across the organization. You will work closely with various departments to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments and internal control evaluations.
3. Collaborate with department heads to identify and mitigate potential risks.
4. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal controls.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
6. Provide training and support to staff on risk management and internal controls.
7. Prepare detailed reports for senior management and the board of directors.
8. Lead and manage internal audits and external audit coordination.
About you
· Risk and controls assurance experience
· Ideally CA or CPA qualified
· Ability to manage multiple deliverables
· Good stakeholder management experience
· Available for an immediate start
