You will also provide support for the wider Accounts Receivable team when required.Responsibilities Revenue Accounting, Compliance & Treasury Management Assist with formulating revenue accounting policiesAssist with and prepare general and special purpose financial statementsPrepare stakeholder financial reports and analysis, for the presentation to executive and wider leadership team at CircanaConduct internal financial investigations, undertake audits and prepare reports to advise and/or provide recommendations to key stakeholdersEnsure accounting for revenue is compliant with policies and statutory requirementsProvide forecasting advice on revenue accounting to internal stakeholdersExamine Circana's income and costs associatedProvide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports, and their compliance with statutory requirementsMaintain and/or develop accounting systems and internal control systems to ensure complianceEnsure compliance for taxation treatment (namely GST)Support internal and external audit processesAppraise cash flow and financial risk of capital thereon Billings & Sales Management Provide advisory support to sales team on client billing queries, accounting systems and policiesAssist with invoices sent out to customers on a monthly basisProvide accurate and timely billing information to all stakeholders of the businessAssist with processing credit notes on a monthly basisRequirementsA bachelor's degree in accounting or similar preferred2+ years' experience in financial accountingExperience using NetSuite/Oracle Accounting Systems in the area of enterprise resource planning (ERP) including trial balance, sale to cash, purchase to payment, cash reconciliation, contract renewals, fixed assets, advance approvals and time sheet modulesExperience using other reporting systems such as Adaptive InsightsStrong experience in financial reporting and forecastingIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsExperience advising on record-keeping requirementsStrong organisation and time management skillsInitiative and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailAs well as the technical skills, experience and attributes that are required for the role, our shared behaviours sit at the core of our organisation.
