Accountabilities include: Supervise the development of transport infrastructure design models in the strategic planning, concept, development, and implementation phases of an overarching framework for the delivery of projects.Ensure that planning and design principles are implemented in accordance with the relevant policies, standards, guidelines and legislation, and that quality management procedures are adhered to.Assist with the review of external design consultancies provision of design services.Provide expert support and advice, including problem resolution, to various stakeholders on the planning and design process for successful completion of transport infrastructure projects.Provide input to determine the resourcing, engineering requirements, critical components and systems involved in supporting project management and delivery of planning and design component projects.Interpret and apply established methodologies in planning and design for transport infrastructure projects and their relevant phases of corridor planning, program development, program delivery, and program finalisation.Development of effective relations with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address needs, expectations and issues that may affect the successful delivery of projects.
