The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 660,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. A new role awaits The Strategic Change Branch is seeking experienced APS6 Change Delivery Officer to join their team. The Strategic Change Branch is responsible for supporting and delivering the Agencies change outcomes that benefit participants and related stakeholders. The branch designs change management activities to ensure effective implementation of prioritised initiatives based upon assessing the impacts of change on staff, participants, partners, providers and other stakeholders. Where you can add value In the APS6 Change Delivery Officer role you will play a pivotal role in driving Agency change to enhance our services and support delivery. You will assist with leading and supporting the implementation of change initiatives within the branch ensuring alignment with Agency objectives and strategies. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Preparing change impact and business change readiness assessments, transition to BAU (business as usual) plans with guidance, contributing to change management planning and strategy and approach. Preparing, with guidance, change documentation, presentations, and data analysis, including edits and formatting to address audience and stakeholder requirements, such as for accessibility and senior executives. Developing, implementing, evaluating, and communicating change management requirements, plans and schedules including proposing recommendations for continuous improvement. Completing a range of diverse activities and tasks, as directed, related to planning, stakeholder engagement, and implementation and evaluation of complex multi-disciplinary projects within the Agency and with external stakeholders. Enough about us, let's talk about you You will have demonstrated experience in building and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships, and you will possess excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to contribute to the development and implementation of change initiatives. You will have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead change independently. While this role is ideally performed from Surry Hills - NSW, Adelaide - SA, Richmond - VIC, or Geelong - VIC, remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
