In this role, you’ll manage existing customers while hunting for new business across Western Sydney, focusing primarily on the hospitality sector — think restaurants, cafes, and similar businesses. Reporting to the State Manager and Chief Commercial Officer, your day will involve a mix of strategic planning, cold calling, and nurturing relationships. You’ll have the freedom to work independently while being an essential part of a collaborative team. Your key focus will be on maintaining strong customer relationships by keeping existing customers satisfied, quickly responding to inquiries, and ensuring long-term partnerships. At the same time, you’ll seek new business opportunities by identifying leads, presenting tailored solutions, and converting prospects. We’re looking for someone with proven business development experience who knows how to spot and act on opportunities. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential, as you’ll be engaging with a wide range of customers from diverse backgrounds, from small business owners and Chef's through to larger commercial operations. You will have a natural ability to connect with everyday people as well as in more formal settings and have experience managing multiple stakeholders, preparing compelling proposals and quotes, and working with CRM systems. You'll need to be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable collaborating with a team when needed.
