APS5 SOP Review and Update Specialist
About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Review and Update Specialist on a labour hire basis for a 12 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for revising and updating SOPs, initially focusing on the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) and Facilities procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors, staff, and the agency facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and update SOPs for the ECO and Facilities teams to align with current best practices in safety and operational protocols.
* Perform quality assurance checks and risk assessments.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback.
* Conduct a programme of works with agreed timeframes and milestones upon contract commencement.
* Analyse and report on customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, able to work independently and proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience in SOP development, facilities management, business continuity, and/or emergency management is highly desirable.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in SOP review and implementation
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to quality standards
* Customer-focused with strong analytical skills
* Able to perform independently and meet the responsibilities of an APS5 level
Engagement Details:
The initial phase of this role involves gathering information and building an understanding of project timeframes. A programme of works will be established and committed to at the start of the contract.
