Trade Cars Direct is currently seeking a General Manager to join our high performing team, working from our Moorabbin based dealership in Melbourne.The Company Trade Cars Direct has had significant growth within the last 2 years which has led to the expansion of its retail arm of the business.The company also has a very successful wholesale division which it has been operating for over a decade.The Role As General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales consultants.Reporting into the Director, you will assist with setting the sales targets for the wider team and overseeing their performance day to day.You will be required to work full time in this position; the dealership does not open on Sunday.Key Duties and Responsibilities Assisting with setting sales targets for the team Lead and motivate a high performing sales team to deliver outstanding results Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers Conduct weekly sales meetings with the sales team Report on performance weekly/monthly, drawing reports for Senior Management What We Are Looking For: Previous Automotive Dealership Experience A results-oriented sales leader with a strong ability to motivate team and drive results.Previous experience managing in various market conditions, peaks and troughs Immaculate and professional presentation, punctual and reliable Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Strong attention to detail What We Are Offering: A competitive salary package with uncapped commissions Great culture and working alongside a close-knit team Stable work environment with modern newly refurbished offices.
