Key responsibilities include:
* Work in conjunction with the Clubhouse Manager & Head Chef to ensure the restaurant delivers a world class experience for members and guests alike.
* Responsible for all areas of food and beverage service and the service experience
* Responsible for all aspects of staff service training and product knowledge.
* Developing and maintaining strong and sustainable relationships with members, guests and visitors.
* Work with the Clubhouse Manager to execute functions and events.
* Work with Clubhouse Manager to execute staff rostering in line with staff budgets and cost control
The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years previous experience in managing food and beverage operations in reputable clubs or restaurants. The chosen candidate will also possess the following attributes:
* Strong knowledge and passion for food & beverage.
* Strong organisational skills and a 'can do' attitude
* Previous experience working in a high-end full service restaurant.
* Extensive local and international wine knowledge
* A demonstrated history of training and mentoring staff that contributed to the delivery of increased customer satisfaction
* A history of working within budgeted guidelines
* Strong verbal and written English language skills
* Have a professional, friendly and engaging personality
* Understanding of OHS requirements
* Experience in event management and coordination
