Position available Section Waiter Pay is $32.25 to $47.55 per hour (depending on day of the week) + TIPS What this role involves The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and maintain the highest service standards at all times. This service begins with a warm welcome, continues throughout the entire sequence of service, and concludes when all guests have been farewelled. The position requires an employee to take direction from management, work effectively in a professional and fast-paced environment, and communicate well with both guests and fellow team members. Thorough understanding of all available food and beverage menu items. Thorough understanding of the order of service, and execution in a timely and accurate manner to achieve superior service delivery. Delivery of exceptional and professional guest service, ensuring all guests receive the high standard of service required, at all times. Ability to manage a given section during service periods. What we are looking for We are on the lookout for a superstar Section Waiter with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a bustling fine dining or hatted restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a vibrant and engaging personality when interacting with guests, demonstrating confidence and outstanding attention to detail. 3+ years of experience within a quality establishment. Strong knowledge of food and beverages. WSET Level 1 or higher is highly regarded. Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with sound decision-making abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure. Hold a valid RSA. Full Australian working rights. Availability to work nights and weekends. Immediate start preferred. A team player with a positive attitude. Ability to adapt to changing situations and environments.
