The role is on an 8/6 roster, residential in Kalgoorlie .
Job details:
Setting out and marking up production drill plans ahead of the drill schedule Carry out end of month processes for development and stope reconciliation Collaborating with the Senior Mining Engineers (Planning and Production) and the Mine Foreman, to ensure the survey priorities align with the operational team Performing regular cavity monitoring scans (CMS) on the sub level open stopes and within the sub level cave areas that require regular scanning Diamond drilling set outs and collar pickups in line with the geological requirements for grade control and reserve definition drilling programs Training and mentoring the Surveying Graduates and vacation students in the correct methods and standards for Underground Surveying Success in this role will come from your skills in being engaging, consultative, and approachable along with versatility and critical thinking.
We require:
Experience in Underground gold mining Ability to obtain Mine Surveyors' Certificate Grade One (1) Experience with Surpac and Deswik Software Experience with Leica Instruments Must reside in the Goldfields region, or willing to be relocated for this residential operation Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Drivers License.
