In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the People Lead in the execution of the People Plan, and for partnering with the Aerospace business to drive and implement growth and mobilisation people plans, whilst supporting retention and culture actions for the F35 Program.The F35 Program is expanding at a rapid pace, including the building of new facilities at the BAE Williamtown Site. You will spend time across all locations while balancing a hybrid working arrangement. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.This is a true business partner role and will allow you to be connected with our mission. You will have exposure to what happens behind the scenes with this impressive and important aircraft.Key responsibilities include:Support the growth and mobilisation planning and delivery of the Program.Embed people strategy elements such as talent management, succession planning, workforce planning and leadership coaching.Be the operational interface between the Program and the People Function.Execute projects of work that align with the strategic direction of the business.Coach leaders by providing advice and support to build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes.About YOU Strong experience as a HR Business Partner or comparable role.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.Proven experience working with trade workers.A strong understanding of industrial relations and enterprise agreements.Ability to communicate effectively and build strong stakeholder relationships.We believe in hiring for potential.
