Operations Manager - Faculty Placement and Partnerships
Contribute to shaping Victoria's future nursing workforce.
The Opportunity
Lead the development and maintenance of key partnerships with industry stakeholders in Holmesglen's Vocational Education and Training Nursing Programs department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate work placements for 4,000+ students across 30+ Faculty courses, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
* Build and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders to provide high-quality placement opportunities.
* Lead and develop the Placement Administration Officers team, overseeing scheduling, resource allocation, and placement tracking.
* Continuously improve systems, processes, and workflows for efficient placement administration.
* Foster collaboration with industry partners to enhance the reputation of the faculty's placement program.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a broad knowledge of the nursing profession, the health industry, and the aged, disability, and community sectors.
* Experience in team management and the ability to network and develop partnerships within the nursing, health, and community sectors.
* Relevant post-graduate qualifications in business administration or health, disability, aged care, or community services.
* Strong organisational, technological, and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet service deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and solution-oriented approach to handling work placement issues.
