We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Health & Safety Manager to join our team and manage the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) functions with precision and efficiency.A Snapshot of What You'll Do: Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) function of ISS management systems in compliance with HSEQ policies, plans, procedures and statutory requirements.Lead and manage the on-site safety team and ensure the company complies with its legal and contractual obligations under the terms and conditions of contract and with relevant statutory obligations.Provide expert advice, support and coaching to the site safety team, management and staff to ensure they understand and manage their health safety and environmental risks and responsibilities.Ensure occupational health and safety and environmental plans and procedures for all site activities are developed, implemented, document controlled and complied with.Manage investigations into accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and ensure incidents are appropriately investigated and actioned to prevent recurrence.Take the lead and participate in visible HSE initiatives to drive site wide HSE performance.Review, update and present HSE reporting at client reviews and site management team on a regular basis.What We're Looking For: Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a senior safety role (within the energy, utilities, or resources sectors highly desired)Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve operational and service excellence.Expertise: Minimum Certificate IV in WHS, lead i-Cam Investigator certificate & knowledge of relevant State legislative requirements.Problem-Solver: Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and implement process improvements.Communicator: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Why Join Us?
