About the role: As a System Analyst within Technology and Transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in IT operation activities across the Core Banking platform for Australia’s leading mutual bank. You will be a subject matter expert (SME) for banking platforms across the organisation (core banking, teller, etc), demonstrating an in depth understanding of configurations and customisations. You will work closely with your Leader, Banking to ensure that the platforms are optimised for the business. The role is responsible for providing operational support, incident & problem management, change management, integration and monitoring off critical Core Banking applications Key Responsibilities: Maintenance of IT operations: Managing key operational tasks within the Core Banking team, ensuring SLA’s are met with incident & problem management, certificates are updated on time and any critical infrastructure is maintained. Change management: Seamless management of changes into production that assist in maintaining a healthy Core Banking environment, ensuring services are maintained and operating efficiently. Successful delivery of member-centric platforms: Assisting the delivery of projects & solutions into production and providing seamless, secure, and user-friendly banking services, products, and applications to employees supporting members. Stability, reliability, and performance: Ensuring the stability, reliability, and optimal performance of the Core Banking platform, minimizing downtime, and providing a high-quality user experience through robust change procedures, testing and solution design. Efficient collaboration: Success is achieved through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration of the Core Banking platform with other systems and applications. Stakeholder satisfaction: Success is reflected in positive feedback from stakeholders, including management, business users, and other relevant teams, regarding the quality, usability, and effectiveness of Core Banking platform. About you: You will have demonstrated experience of successful delivery and support of member-centric platforms that are usable, stable, secure, compliant, and aligned to business objectives. Expertise in providing strong technical acumen, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrated experience in IT Operations for financial services. Demonstrated experience supporting a Core Banking application Knowledge of payments systems incl. NPP, PayTo, Direct Entry and Bpay. Knowledge and experience in change management process’s. Experience with incident and problem management using Service Now. Demonstrated ability to drive service improvement using ITIL standards. Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
