We're looking for a multi-skilled travel specialist to join our team as a Travel Manager, where the challenging world of corporate and leisure travel management will be sure to take your career to new heights. As one of our team, you'll be working with Government departments, using your expertise in fares and complex itineraries to make professional and accurate business travel arrangements including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations using Sabre GDS.
About the Opportunity: FCM Travel Manager – NSW Government Team
1. Strong international fare skills
2. Assist in making professional and accurate business travel arrangements for corporate accounts including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations.
3. Follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in the area of making travel arrangements, ticketing, Phase IVs, ticket exchanges/changes, CRS/GDS productivity.
4. GDS proficiency – Sabre highly regarded
5. Excellent communicator and professionalism
6. Work as a team member and assist other agents as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client.
7. Maintain favourable working relationships with accounts and all of their employees
8. Provide solutions to travel related problems clients may have experienced with arrangements
9. High attention to detail
10. Strong time management skills and professionalism
11. Expertise in fares and complex itineraries
All About You:
12. A high level of attention to detail
13. Experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Manager (min 2 years experience)
14. International experience
15. To be a 'people person' with networking and relationship-building skills
16. Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
17. Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
18. Tertiary education is highly regarded
19. Great business acumen
