About The Role The Factory Production Planner and Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization. This role involves collaboration with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure efficient production and timely deliveries for both local and export markets. The successful candidate will be skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring production aligns with business goals and customer expectations. What You’ll Do Production Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasted demand for local and export markets. Monitor and update the 12-month rolling forecast monthly. Receive, control, and communicate the 5-week locked-in plan from customers and ensure its feasibility. Release production and loading plan reports, ensuring alignment with factory capacity and resource availability. Adjust schedules to address unplanned disruptions such as machine breakdowns or component shortages. Customer Communication and Satisfaction: Provide weekly shipment summaries to customers, ensuring data accuracy even during holidays. Address customer concerns proactively and manage expectations effectively. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence. Use data analytics tools such as PowerBI and Excel to forecast future production needs. Team Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments and with external stakeholders. Schedule and lead regular meetings, ensuring actions and accountability for key stakeholders. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and process optimization. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Meet monthly safety audit targets with 100% compliance. Follow 5S practices to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Business Plan Deployment: Develop and communicate business plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide corrective action plans where necessary and inform stakeholders of required support. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 3 years of experience in production planning & scheduling or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in production planning tools (SAP PP, SAP IBP/APO, MRP systems); experience with SAP is an advantage. Professional certification (e.g., ASCM CPIM/CSCP) is a strong advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing multiple priorities. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems. Ability to manage and analyze large datasets from various sources. Experience in process automation and optimizing workflows through technology.
