We are currently looking for a Deputy IVF Laboratory Manager to assist with the smooth running of our laboratory in Greensborough, Victoria.
Take the next step in your career The Deputy Lab Manager will be responsible for supporting the Lab Manager, performing a wide range of IVF services and associated functions. The role includes scientific as well as administrative duties and is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day work performed in the Laboratory, its staff and quality & compliance related to ongoing operations.

Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day functioning of the Adora Fertility IVF Laboratory, ensuring a high level of operational and scientific compliance and the achievement of organisational objectives Management of scientific staff and coordination of laboratory resources Stepping up as Lab Manager when required Responsible for the quality and quantity of scientific testing performed Leading and managing a team of scientists to perform their work accurately and efficiently Ensuring Quality Assurance systems and documentation are maintained This is a challenging, multidimensional role offering excellent rewards for success for the right person. Qualifications Sound knowledge and understanding of RTAC Code of Practice, NHMRC Ethical Guidelines on ART and local state legislation pertaining to ART treatment Minimum five years' clinical human embryology experience Ability to perform a range of laboratory processes as per SOP and best practice and lead, manage and supervise other staff to perform the same Demonstrate and maintain excellent customer service skills, strong positive and collaborative leadership and teamwork Demonstrated ability to train and mentor trainee embryologists Experience working within a Quality Management system and understanding of internal auditing Sound embryology and andrology theoretical knowledge Demonstrated personal initiative within the laboratory through involvement in Lab Meetings and local projects Ability to manage and complete additional duties as delegated by the Lab Manager Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Additional Benefits Join a safe & inclusive workplace that emphasises its employee's wellbeing and development Access to our Employee Assistance Program and free counselling sessions Discounts on our Adora fertility services Birthday leave Paid Parental Leave Allowance - 10 weeks 5 weeks of annual leave Annual awards Local social activities At Adora, we believe in living our values every day.
