The Position:
1. Management of all village housekeeping and cleaning services including room cleaning, laundry operations and mine site cleaning
2. Ensuring all aspects of service delivery in accordance with the contract for services
3. Schedule and supervise
4. Issuing and managing staff rosters and timesheets
5. Managing the cleaning budget and ensuring costs are controlled
6. Supervise all team members in their day-to-day duties
7. Scheduling of, and managing, ongoing maintenance for all periodical cleaning
8. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance in all accommodation, administration, mine site and laundry facilities
9. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and service rotations
10. Ensure effective communications through timely response and action to requests including accommodation services, maintenance requests, general enquiries
11. Monitor stock levels and handle ordering of housekeeping supplies ensuring adequate par levels are maintained on site
12. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures within the housekeeping function and other relevant areas
13. Contribute to the development of a highly engaged and motivated team
14. Ensure the promotion of a strong site safety culture and compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements

Minimum Criteria:
22. Ability to undertake regular travel to site on a DIDO/FIFO roster
23. Ability to work in a remote and physically demanding environment
24. Proven experience in housekeeping/cleaning operations is essential preferably within a remote/village operation with laundry and mine site cleaning operations preferred
25. Demonstrated experience using housekeeping audit tools/systems and Microsoft Office suite
26. Excellent organisation and time management skills, eye for detail and high standard of accuracy
27. Ability to motivate a team to deliver outcomes and thrive in a busy and dynamic environment
28. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills
29. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing a range of stakeholder relationships and delivering to plan
30. Solutions focused – self-motivated with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and adapt to changing needs or priorities
31. Physically fit with the ability to successfully pass pre-employment medical requirements
32. Possess an Australian drivers licence
