Ear Nurse (Registered Nurse) / Audiometrist / AudiologistWe have a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, Audiometrist, or Audiologist to join our team based in Devonport and work at the pre-eminent Microsution Earwax Removal Clinic of Tasmania. If you would like to be part of an Audiology Clinic focused on good patient outcomes and experiences, rather than arbitrary sales targets, we'd love to hear from you.You would need to:Have exceptional customer service, bedside manner, communication, and organisational skills (essential)Thrive under pressure and maintain a level-headed mind in challenging situations.Have experience in administration and customer service.Enjoy taking ownership of responsibilities and working in a collaborative environment.Be quick to learn new systems and technologies.Be proficient with using a computer.Have some experience assisting patients or family with hearing aids (not essential)Be willing to learn microsuction earwax removal and provide patients with immediate relief from impacted earwax.Be willing to upskill to assist the Audiologist with hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings (for Registered Nurses) or see Audiology patients independently (for Audiometrists or Student Audiometrists).Take pride in your presentation and workspace appearance.Have a caring persona.Show evidence of working for a previous company for at least 3 years.Provide exemplary patient care and maintain a positive disposition in the face of challenges.Be willing to travel to our visiting site in Launceston once a week (a driver's license is essential).Be willing to commence employment in early to mid-November.
