About the role-
The Good Guys web platform is undergoing a digital transformation project. In this role, you’ll be working with the project team to shape the digital experience for The Good Guys website
Responsibilities:
7. Practice user-centred design to ensure the customer is brought into the design process at every stage.
8. Work closely with IT, Developers and Testers to improve the brand experience online for customers.
9. Deploy design-thinking tools and techniques to perform customer research and user experience testing, user requirements analysis - including gathering insights, and creating user scenarios and task analysis.
10. Analyse user feedback and activity and iterating to enhance the user experience.
11. Conduct customer journey mapping including visual and interactive design to ensure the final product experience is easily understood.
12. Participate and work with Customer Insights and Digital Optimisation Team in developing measurement frameworks, data collection mapping and analysis for CRO.
13. Participate in competitor and customer analysis to develop solutions to improve customer engagement, problems and drive sales growth.
14. Lead and work with the digital delivery and Digital Optimisation Team in AB/multivariant testing to refine the live customer experience and develop customer value proposition.
15. Conduct usability testing, user requirements analysis including creating user scenarios and task analysis.
16. Work within agile delivery teams and understand the methodologies and knowledge of integrating research into agile workflows such as Scrum and Kanban
17. Provide final detailed UI design and work with delivery team to bring the final product to live.
About you:
18. A relevant tertiary qualification- previous experience in a similar role in Marketing, Communications or IT with an in-depth knowledge of website development.
19. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
20. Strong visual communication skill with technical expertise in Figma
21. Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and usability
22. Effective communication skills to articulate design decisions, present findings, and collaborate with business, technical team members, and end users.
23. Proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to achieve targets in a timely and accurate manner autonomously or under minimal supervision.
