This is a busy private practice with multiple Surgeons, Allied Health Professionals and Consultant Anaesthetists.We are looking for candidates who can commit to a part-time (3 - 4 days per week) permanent position. The successful candidate would be required to work every Thursday and Friday, but can select which other day/s would be apart of their set roster.The position offers variety, is hands-on as you manage the day to day patient clinics and medical administration for the front desk.Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Take all incoming telephone calls and assist patients with general enquiriesPrepare and run patient clinicsManage the patient bookings for all clinics and ensure the specialists are kept updated on any changes to their diaryManage all patient correspondence, emails and faxesPrepare patient billing and receipting for patient consultationsAssist with theatre quotes and booking theatre proceduresProvide day to day administration support to the Practice Manager and 2 Practice Directors.To be closely considered for this position you will have the following skills/attributes:A minimum of 2 years industry experience working within a private specialist practice (prior exposure to Orthopaedics will be viewed favourably)Sound knowledge of Genie software and Eclipse billing platforms (would be viewed favourably but not essential)Clear and concise communication skillsStrong attention to detailReliable, immaculately presented, confident and courteous along with the ability to remain calm in challenging situationsA warm and respectful manner when interacting with staff, patients and all medical professionalsA strong work ethic and initiativeWork well within a small team environmentYou will need to demonstrate an exceptional level of commitment to the practice and its patients. You will be highly reliable, efficient and able to work autonomously.
