The Company’s principal asset is the Mindarie Mineral Sands Project located 150km east of Adelaide in the Mallee region of South Australia with a Head Office in Adelaide.This role can be based at the Mindarie site or alternatively in the Adelaide Head Office and provides the opportunity to be part of this exciting project.About the Role:You will partner with Business Leaders in a hands-on role, providing professional and strategic advice relating to Company processes, policies and payroll.Duties:Manage the recruitment process from the development of position descriptions, advertising roles, pre-screening, support for interviews, arranging psychometric testing, and drafting of contracts for approval.Coordinate the onboarding of new employees.Become familiar with Employment Hero, updating employee changes, policy management, maintaining onboarding activities, and providing assistance to employees in its use.Investigate policy or procedure breaches and make recommendations on appropriate course of action.Respond to grievances raised by employees, in conjunction with the HR/Safety Manager.Liaise with payroll and provide a conduit for payroll issues raised.Ensure HR actions are carried out – probationary reviews, performance reviews, salary reviews.Liaise with Site Administrator, Systems Officer and Corporate Services Coordinator to ensure seamless processes for all employees.Assisting with Return-to-Work coordination.Other duties that will arise.About You:There is a preference for HR tertiary qualifications.At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the mining industry.Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.Experience with Employment Hero is a distinct advantage.Excellent skills in Microsoft packages.Ability to multi-skill and react quickly to organizational changes.Lifestyle friendly roster. This position is based on an 8&6-day shift roster.
