Our client, a well-established family farm located in the scenic heart of Molong, New South Wales, is seeking a dedicated Farm Manager to lead their dynamic team. This picturesque 7,000-acre operation specialises in broadacre cropping and sheep farming and is supported by a team of committed family members and skilled employees, with tenures ranging from 5 to 25 years, creating a stable and positive work environment. What You’ll Do: You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and running of the property, including tasks such as mustering, drenching, spraying, ear tagging sheep, shearing, and lamb marking. Manage fencing activities, alongside planting and harvesting a variety of crops. Oversee cutting and bailing hay, as well as carting and stacking it in sheds. Operate and maintain a fleet of top-of-the-line machinery, including John Deere tractors, disc planters, and various other implements. Fixing machinery and completing regular maintenance is essential. Conduct spraying operations, ensuring the effective application of treatments across crops and pastures. While based predominantly at the Molong property, you will occasionally provide support at their other locations in Narromine and Gulargambone. What You’ll Need: Extensive experience in farm management, particularly with a strong focus on a wide range of agricultural practices. A valid driver’s licence; a truck licence would be beneficial but is not mandatory. Willingness to undergo police clearance and a medical examination. Why Join Our Client’s Team? Competitive Salary Package: An attractive compensation package that reflects the significance of your role. Stunning Family Accommodation: Comfortable family-sized homestead with capped utilities, located very close to the farm. Community and Lifestyle: Enjoy life in Molong and the nearby regional hub of Orange, which offer great schools, shops, sports, and local events.
