What you’ll do
7. Curate ranges, refined GBB competitive pricing & product architecture in line with Category Strategy, using Customer and Market insights to ensure it’s aligned to BIG W strategies
8. Partner with group sourcing & Graphic Packaging Design Team to maximise own brand offers & grow customer advocacy where relevant
9. Manage key strategic Initiatives, as well as deliver targets on sales growth, profitability and market share. Build and manage an effective and sustainable end to end promotional program.
10. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. Category Manager & Assistant, Marketing, Digital, Replenishment, Promotions, Cartology, Stores etc. to implement promotional activity effectively
11. Deliver optimum ranges via a planned review schedule, offering choice that is store tailored, reflective of the category roles, incorporates changing customer trends and utilises focused customer insight
What you’ll bring
12. Previous experience in Category Management or Buying in Homewares, with an emphasis on project management across a number of cross functional initiatives, such as Reviews, Promotional Strategy, and bringing new products to market
13. Strong Commercial and Business acume
14. A broad skill set in increasing sales and profit through implementation of strategic program initiatives
15. Analytical skills and understanding of customer insights to make informed decisions
16. Demonstrated the ability to negotiate and influence with cross functional and external stakeholders
