They seek to uphold the rights of, and promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of people with disability receiving supports or services.The Role:The APS5 Fraud Investigator is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Conduct criminal investigations following Agency and Australian Government standards.Conduct interviews, prepare statements, and manage evidential material.Assist in preparing cases and briefs of evidence for referral to authorities.Represent the Agency in criminal and civil courts.Analysing, processing information and producing accurate and informative reports.Assisting with the execution of search warrants, which may require domestic air travel and working extended hours including overnight stays.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalentExperience in policing or leading successful criminal prosecutions.Court evidence presentation and case brief preparation.Experience with interviews, statement preparation, and evidence managementStrong interpersonal and written communication skills.To Apply: In order to be considered applicants are required to hold an Australian Citizenship.
