Job Responsibilities
* Configure and manage Red Hat Satellite server for system provisioning, patch management, and configuration management.
* Integrate Satellite with Ansible Tower to automate deployment and configuration tasks.
* Configure and manage Ansible Tower and integration with other applications.
* GitLab enterprise edition configuration and management.
* Configure and maintain BIND DNS servers and manage DNSSEC for enhanced security.
* Provide project technical support including installation, configuration, maintenance, security and compliance of Enterprise Systems, Linux-based Infrastructure (Redhat and Ubuntu).
* Be aware of change management disciplines and adhere to this process for all system changes.
* Implement and manage HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and encryption.
* Security and operational incident response.
* Build and deploy Linux servers for both on-premises and virtual and cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
* OS patch implementation and administration.
* Develop Ansible playbooks and roles to automate system administration tasks.
* Investigate and resolve complex system issues.
* Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Must Have Skills
* Strong knowledge of Linux OS administration (Redhat and Ubuntu).
* Proven experience with Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Tower, GitLab, and HashiCorp Vault.
* Proven knowledge in DNS technologies (BIND, DNSSEC & dynamic DNS).
* Australian Citizens only. An active AGSVA NV1 / baseline clearance is ideally preferred, but not mandatory. You should be eligible and willing to get one if needed.
Good To Have
* Strong Ansible, Shell, and Python scripting knowledge.
* Experience in application security features and hardening.
* A broad experience in security concepts including SELinux, Intrusion Detection, vulnerability management, auditing, digital certificates, and Malware Prevention (Antivirus).
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Red Hat Certified Engineer or Certified Administrator (RHCE) / RHSA preferred.
