About the role / what you’ll bring
As our Assets and Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing NAAJA’s facilities, vehicles, and assets across the Northern Territory. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance, efficiency, and best value for money in asset and facility procurement and maintenance.
1. Manage and maintain NAAJA’s facilities and vehicle fleet across multiple sites.
2. Develop and implement asset management policies and maintenance programs.
3. Ensure compliance with legislative and safety standards.
4. Build and maintain partnerships with suppliers for cost-effective services.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and resolve asset-related issues.
6. Manage budgets related to property, vehicles, and equipment procurement.

What we are looking for – Key criteria
1. 3+ years of experience in asset, facility, or operations management.
2. Strong legislative knowledge relevant to facilities, fleet, and asset management.
3. Tech-savvy – experience with asset and fleet management systems.
4. Experience working across multiple locations – preferably in remote or regional areas.
5. Cultural competency and understanding of Indigenous communities.
6. Willingness to travel throughout the NT, including remote areas.
7. Ability to obtain an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance) and a clear criminal history check.
