Manage sales performance in NSW of grouped key accounts identified. Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization's products/services. Assist with the formulation and execution of marketing and sales plans for allocated customers assisting in the achievement of the Territory Sales Budget. Actively pursue new account, and new channel opportunities, according to established criteria. Key Account Management Assist National Sales Manager in building and implementing the strategy to develop and grow the identified key accounts. Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with those key accounts to generate new business for the organization's products/services. Maintain a consistent and efficient call cycle with key accounts. Undertake regular Business reviews incorporating an analysis of purchase performance by product category for key accounts. Support the company's other Account Managers and appointed agencies where the key account falls in their allocated territory where necessary and appropriate. Manage the allocated key accounts' promotional submissions and presentations as required in conjunction with the National Sales Manager. Undertake fortnightly business reviews for key accounts with National Sales Manager. Produce a monthly report on key account performance achieved. Include any general market activity, relationships, opportunities and roadblocks. Account Management Managing Key accounts via professional and effective communication, in all forms, at all times. Develop and maintain sound relations with all accounts and across functions where possible. Provide product training where necessary and appropriate, ensuring our full range is known to the account. Effectively managing discontinued and slow-moving inventory within accounts to achieve timely reduction. Identifying and correcting retail pricing anomalies. Manage the allocated customers promotional submissions & presentations as required. Develop clear strategies for business growth within the allocated territory. Undertake regular business reviews incorporating an analysis of purchase performance by product category for key accounts within the allocated territory. Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Effectively plan and manage the account calling cycle for all accounts within allocated territory. Professional representation of our business at appropriate trade shows, functions and committees. Prepare and present proposals with National Sales Manager where required.
