As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients
2. Supervising, directing, and guiding Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) in patient care delivery
3. Educating and supporting patients and individuals in managing health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
4. Leading quality improvement and safety initiatives to achieve targeted outcomes
5. Collaborating effectively with the broader healthcare team to address patient care needs
6. Serving as a role model for safe practice standards
About you:
7. Qualified with a Bachelor of Nursing
8. Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
9. National Police Clearance within 12 months (or willing to obtain)
10. Current serology proof of vaccinations including: MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep B.
11. Current mandatory training certificates (e.g BLS etc)
12. Minimum 3 years RN experience in the Emergency Department
13. Resus & Triage certfiicates highly desirable
