Through a unique multidisciplinary team approach, the Staying Deadly Service delivers comprehensive assessments, treatment, and assertive outreach services to ensure clients receive appropriate and responsive care needed to thrive within their community.About the roleAs the Staying Deadly General Manager, you will be responsible for strategically leading the delivery of culturally appropriate multidisciplinary mental health and wellbeing care within the Moreton ATSICHS region. This role includes ensuring collaborative planning, development, integration, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the service delivery model for the Staying Deadly MATSICHS in conjunction with the IUIH Clinical Model of Care. The Staying Deadly Services are located across the Moreton Bay region including Morayfield, Caboolture, Redcliff, and Strathpine hubs. There will be a requirement for the General Manager to travel to each site.Within this role, you will be required to:Lead the strategic transformation of Mental health & wellbeing services within the MATSICHS region.Oversee the development and implementation of improved service model initiatives.Provide leadership in managing teams responsible for the delivery of Mental Health & Wellbeing Services ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People grow in a safe and nurturing environment.Strategically lead, develop, and manage the Staying Deadly Leadership team to deliver holistic mental health and wellbeing services.Oversee the ongoing development and refinement of community engagement activities aimed at increasing promotion, awareness, access, and uptake of Staying Deadly Services.Collaborate with MATSICHS Senior Leadership team and senior clinicians across the IUIH network, developing, implementing, and promoting effective communication and linkages.Lead the development, implementation, and growth of an integrated service model for clients and their families in areas of mental health & wellbeing, alcohol and other drugs, social emotional wellbeing.Provide expert and timely advice to the MATSICHS Executive Director and IUIH Leadership Team on policies, legislation, programs, and issues of relevance.About youCurrent C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).Current Working with Children Clearance (QLD Blue Card) – required prior to your commencement.Current Disability Worker Screening Check (QLD Yellow Card) – required prior to your commencement.Current Criminal History Check – willing to obtain upon commencement.Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or a genuine interest in expanding your skills, knowledge, and capability to work in our sector.What we offerAt IUIH, we recognise that we operate in a diverse community and welcome and encourage applications from all ages and genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, the LGBTIQ+ community, veterans, refugees, and people with disabilities.At IUIH ‘Our Collectivity is Our Strength’.
