Essential Qualifications
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or a higher qualification or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA). *If you are still studying you can still apply.
* A current and valid BlueCard
* First Aid & CPR certificate (including training in asthma and anaphylaxis)
Essential Skills and Attributes
* In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
* Capability to guide, mentor and provide direction to other educators in the learning environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues and management.
* Experience in designing, implementing and assessing educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment.
* Ability to work in partnership with other educators, support staff and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
* Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader or similar role in an early childhood setting.
* Ability to create an environment where all children, including those with additional needs can thrive and learn.
* Proficiency in using Storypark for children's documentation, communication with families and educational planning.
