Experienced Systems Administrator required to provide L2/3 support, IT fit-outs, and executive support About the role As a Systems Administrator specialising in L2/3 Support, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure. You will work closely with the executive team, ensuring seamless technology operations and providing exceptional support. Your role will also include managing IT fit-outs for new locations and troubleshooting complex issues to keep systems running smoothly. Day to day duties include: Providing advanced technical support (L2/3) for Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and related applications. Performing basic networking support tasks such as configuring routers, switches, and firewalls; managing network connectivity issues; and ensuring network security and performance. Overseeing the IT setup and maintenance for new and existing locations, including hardware installation, software configuration, network setup, and integration. Providing support to the executive team, handling high-priority issues with professionalism and discretion. Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing. Work closely with the wider IT Team to implement new technologies and upgrades, ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption to business operations. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Significant experience in a Systems Administrator role, with a strong focus on L2/3 support and a solid track record of handling complex IT issues and projects. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and related applications. Experience with networking fundamentals and tools, such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives and team members, providing clear explanations and updates on technical issues and solutions. Prior experience managing IT fit-outs and setups for new locations would be beneficial Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in maintaining documentation and ensuring all IT processes are well-documented and followed. Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing priorities, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
