About the Psychological Trauma Recovery Outpatient Service: A specialist, state wide service providing targeted treatment programs for trauma related mental health conditions to specific client cohorts, including veterans, current service Australian Defence Force personnel, emergency services personnel and survivors of serious workplace or motor vehicle accidents. About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a psychologist to provide direct clinical care in a unique, specialist mental health setting with a large team of passionate and motivated psychologists. This position would also be part reestablishing a group treatment program for Veterans and current serving ADF members and setting up a pilot project for Massed Prolonged Exposure. A regular day will see you: Deliver high quality, evidence based, trauma specific treatment Provide individual and group based interventions in an outpatient setting Contribute to ongoing evaluation and improvement initiatives and portfolio work, in collaboration with leadership About you: Ideally, you’ll have: Demonstrated experience in provision of evidence based psychological interventions Demonstrated experience in working with individuals with a diagnosis of PTSD Excellent interpersonal skills High level self management skills - time management, diligence, reliability Applicants seeking full time OR part time opportunities encouraged to apply.
