Job Description
Spread joy by joining our Volunteer Team!
The ACVVS program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person.
From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords… whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.
As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.
Spend time with an elderly lady or gentleman living in a residential aged care home in Umina Beach, Woy Woy, and Ettalong Beach.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
