Nursing - Aged Care (Healthcare & Medical)

We currently have the opportunity for Support Workers to work in the Community providing in-home support to older people and their carers with tasks such as personal care, grooming, respite care, transport, domestic duties, social activities, and medication monitoring. Our Support Workers are a key contact in the lives of the people we support. They are responsible for monitoring a client's progress, reporting any concerns or changes, and documenting accurate and relevant information in client files in a timely manner.
What we offer:
- Permanent part-time positions, hours offered will depend on availability
- Minimum hourly rate from $28.48
- Plus 11.5% superannuation

What you'll need to be successful in the role:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification or working towards a relevant qualification to be achieved within the course duration
- A current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Class C Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, roadworthy, fully insured vehicle
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage your time effectively
- The ability to positively engage with clients, their carers, families, and the wider community
- Experience working unsupervised, one-on-one with clients in a home care environment
- Experience providing person-centred and strength-based practices.
Pre-Employment Checks:
As part of the recruitment process, you will need to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check and provide your NDIS Worker Check. We are committed to the health and safety of all our employees and residents. Applicants must ensure that they meet current Federal and NSW Public Health guidelines relating to vaccinations for Aged Care. Successful applicants are required to provide proof of vaccination.
