Northern Inland Credit Union seeks an experienced Human Resources & Training Officer to join our team. As part of a financial institution established for over 50 years, the position is based in our Tamworth office.
About the role
The Human Resources & Training Officer is a dual role and is an integral part of the team at NICU, responsible for:
o Overseeing various HR functions; ensuring compliance with documented policies and procedures and relevant workplace relations and workplace safety legislation;
and
o Directly influencing the performance and professional pathways for learning of all staff.
The responsibilities of the HR & Training Officer include the following:
Human Resources:
o Recruitment and Selection
o Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
o Employee Relations
o Performance Management
o HR Policies and Compliance
o HR Administration
Training:
o Training Needs Assessment and Program Development
o Training Delivery and Facilitation
o Training Evaluation and Feedback
o Training Administration
o Learning and Development Initiatives
To be successful in this role you would have the following:
o Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management;
o Demonstrated experience in a HR & Training Officer role or similar role;
o Relevant certification in training and development (or willingness to obtain);
o Certification in WHS;
o Experience working in a financial institution (Desirable).
Remuneration is based on experience and relevant qualifications.
