Team Leader Communications and MarketingTeam Leader- Communications & MarketingAn exciting opportunity has arisen with the Rural City of Murray Bridge for a suitably qualified person to join Council in a senior role as the Team Leader – Communications & Marketing.The Team Leader Communications & Marketing holds a leadership and coordinating role in the development, implementation, and review of relevant organisational strategy across the organisation.The position provides information and advice, internally and externally, to assist with the effective communication and implementation of relevant RCMB goals and activities.Reporting to the Manager Corporate Services, responsibilities include:Communication and Marketing systems and processes.Ensure effective and cooperative communication regarding relevant organisation initiatives between the Communications and Marketing team and staff, Elected Members, and the community.Coordinate feedback and advice to management and staff on issues to encourage and support quality service through the organisation.Ensure development, implementation, monitoring, and review of relevant Plans, Projects, and Programs including relevant components of the Strategic Plan.Ensure regular review and consistent implementation of the RCMB communications policies and procedures.Develop and implement training for key staff to support and enhance the development of customer service competencies.You will play a vital role in ensuring that the team's operations meet the highest standards of compliance with legislation, policy, and procedures, through advice, leadership, coaching, monitoring, and reporting.If successful, you will be working in a progressive and rewarding environment where your proactive approach will be valued and appreciated.
