The role Our Parramatta Creek Processing Factory is on the hunt for an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fish Performance Officer.
This role will collect and analyse fish performance, fish health, and quality-based data.
Primarily located at our Parramatta Creek Processing factory, off-site work may be required to further understand Huon's fish performance and health strategies.
You will: Collect and monitor data on fish performance, health, and quality to support decision-making and fish wellbeing insights.
Coordinate flesh quality sample collections and liaise with local feed suppliers for analysis, ensuring effective communication and efficiency.
Assist the Feed Trials team through the coordination of equipment, schedules, and resources for sampling events to optimise operational efficiency.
Collate and report data to provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders including Fish Production Manager, Fish Production Analyst, and Quality Assurance Officer, to ensure all relevant data is captured and any health concerns are promptly communicated.
About you Experience with fin fish in a processing environment and a willingness to extend knowledge in the fish performance and fish health space.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to make sound decisions, working effectively under tight deadlines.
Confidence in your computer skills and using the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent attention to detail with well-developed analytical and reporting skills.
