Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) / Behaviour Therapist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of our mission to enable individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of clients with developmental disabilities.
* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behaviour intervention plans based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and positive behaviour support (PBS) framework.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development.
* Provide training and support to caregivers and staff to ensure effective implementation of behaviour strategies.
* Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
* Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of behaviour analysis and developmental disabilities.
* Advocate for the rights and dignity of individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their autonomy and inclusion in the community.
Qualifications:
* Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification.
* Master's degree in Psychology, ABA, or a related field.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a passion for behaviour analysis.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead others.
* Strong analytical skills and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
