The Client Foodworks Southbank is located in Southbank in VIC is a large retail business dealing with fast moving consumer goods. They require a full time Retail Manager to join their team.
The Role The Retail Manager is responsible for leading all operations and functions of the retail operations. This rare opportunity will see you take charge and lead by example as you manage and lead the team, and capitalise on business opportunities to grow the business.
This role is a full time position with an annual salary set between $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience plus superannuation.
Responsibilities Leading retail operations for all facets of activity including sales, retail execution, operations, compliance and OH&SFlawlessly implementing the convenience store promotional and retail development plansManaging the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to company policies and proceduresEnsuring effective communication through the channel from key stakeholders through your network to ensure focus and delivery on core objectivesIdentifying new retail, business development and continuous site opportunitiesCreate and deliver daily plans and strategies to ensure store & individual budgets and KPI's are achievedExecute & manage visual merchandising within the storeMotivating and leading the team to connect with customers and provide an amazing and engaging customer service experienceMaximising budgeted sales and controlling expenses (including wages and shrinkage) through your understanding and driving of KPIs, loss prevention strategies and operational excellenceOverseeing and management of retail inventory records and stock levels for all retail operationRecruiting, training and retaining team members to create a fun, collaborative and success focused cultureMentoring and developing the team in providing amazing customer experiencesRequirements Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or retail managementMinimum 2 years' experience in commercial retail management at a Managerial levelMinimum of 2 years' people management experienceMinimum of 2 years' in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkageMinimum of 2 years' in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferencesMinimum of 2 years' experience in using retail management systems, POS systems, and stock management softwareStrong operational management backgroundAbility to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitementDemonstrated VM / volume stock management abilitiesPassion for driving customer serviceGood time management and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
