What you'll be doing
The Community Drug Health Service is designed to provide a range of community counselling & psychology services free of charge, to people affected by issues related to alcohol or other substance use.
The Community Drug Health Clinical Psychologist is responsible for the provision of evidence based clinical services including assessment, case management, counselling, group, and health promotional activities for clients referred to Allied Health West Team at Mount Druitt, or other sites within WSLHD Community Drug Health as required (Blacktown, Cumberland, Doonside, The Hills, Auburn, Merrylands and Parramatta).
Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
Essential Criteria:
1. Qualification: Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Forensic Psychology.
2. Registration: General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
