About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Specialist Planner to join our Long-Term Planning team. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and safety of our assets through proactive support in the development of maintenance tactics, work management processes, and maintenance budgeting.
The Specialist Planner reports to the Superintendent of Long-Term Planning under the Asset Management Supply Chain Services division.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting development of strategic maintenance tactics and implementation.
Collaboration with maintenance, reliability, and risk stakeholders to mitigate critical asset-related risks.
Identify and manage maintenance needs across multiple sites or asset groups.
Develop zero-based maintenance budgets and maintenance forecasts.
Ensure effective use of maintenance planning processes.
Analyse maintenance data to improve asset strategies and maximize asset value through modelling, forecasting, and lifecycle management.
Develop and analyse asset schedules for optimal resource allocation, managing material requirements, forecasts, and critical spares.
What you'll bring:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we are looking for:
Highly organised individual
Proven maintenance planning experience (Rail, Utilities or Fixed Plant experience preferred but not essential)
Proven experience using SAP (Zero Based Budget transactional experience preferred but not essential)
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills essential)
Ability to analyse and format large data sets
Ability to learn and adapt to new Digital tools
Exceptional stakeholder communication & collaboration skills
Able to be proactive, flexible, and work independently on own portfolio
Complex problem-solving skills and proven ability to deliver solutions
Current Australian C Class Driver's License

Located in Perth City, Central Park offers an easy commute to and from work in a modern and respectful workplace.
Occasional Ad-Hoc travel to our Pilbara operations will be required.
The Supply Chain Services Long-Term Planning team forms an integral part of the Asset Management Supply Chain Services Division providing maintenance planning support to our Pilbara based operations across the supply chain.
