Job Description
As a Regional Clinical Director at Greencross Vets, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of veterinary services across multiple clinics in Sydney region. You will also spend time working clinically within your practices to help coach and develop the veterinarians in each site. In this role, you will help guide a team of talented veterinarians and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration through team-based consulting and high clinical standards.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake clinical days to work with the various teams, thus allowing you to build rapport and understand how you can help each individual team.
* Oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region.
* Ensure the delivery of exceptional veterinary care, adhering to high quality standards and professionalism.
* Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge within the teams.
* Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall clinic performance.
* Ensure the safety of our teams by reviewing compliance safety controls and adherence to Veterinary Surgeons Board Guidelines and Legislation.
* Collaborate with the General Manager, Area Managers, Chief Veterinary Officer, and other Regional Clinical Directors, to drive high standards of care and best practices.
* Support the recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and staff within your region.
* Stay up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.
Qualifications
* A degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in New South Wales.
* Proven leadership experience in a veterinary setting, with a track record of successful team management.
* Advanced skills such memberships, particularly in small animal surgery with the ability to perform orthopaedic surgery, would be viewed favourably.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
* Passion for delivering excellent veterinary care and driving continuous improvement.
* Innovative mindset and the ability to adapt to the evolving veterinary industry.
* Willingness to travel between clinics within the region and help other regions cover leave or extra workloads.
