**Main Purpose of the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to join our West Midlands region. Based at our regional office in Tamworth, you will provide strategic leadership support in all construction matters within the region. You will work closely with all departments to ensure operational and financial delivery, ensuring the region plans and builds the budgeted number of houses to a high standard in the most efficient and cost-effective way, maximizing profit and delighting the customer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for site health and safety, ensuring high quality standards supporting our aim to be a 5* housebuilder while upholding safety standards. You will lead and build a motivated and engaged team, developing existing team members and recruiting the right talent into the business when required.

**Requirements:**
We are looking for someone who fits our core values, passionate about the housebuilding industry with previous experience gained through working in a senior Construction Management role. You will be collaborative, confident in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, able to negotiate and influence. Creative problem solvers are welcome, able to deliver developments successfully using financial and commercial awareness to ensure a strong customer facing experience on site.
Up-to-date relevant knowledge of building legislation, relevant local government understanding, along with experience of Partnership arrangements and up-to-date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation are key requirements for this role.
